Ant Law & Brigitte Beraha: Ensconced

‘Ensconced’ is an exciting new collaboration between British/Turkish vocalist, composer and lyricist Brigitte Beraha, and leading UK guitarist/composer Ant Law.

They perform original music and re-imagine timeless standards like ‘A Kiss To Build A Dream On’(made famous by Louis Armstrong) and Leonard Bernstein’s ‘Some Other Time’. Through the material, the duo simply and beautifully conjure up a spellbinding, intimate atmosphere.

Inspired by Ant’s compositions, Brigitte exhibits rich lyrical storytelling. Her deeply expressive vocals, alongside Ant’s inventive and melodic acoustic guitar artistry, are the elements at the very heart of this music.

Their new album Ensconced was released in August 2024 to critical acclaim, with UK Jazz News noting ‘jaw-dropping quality’ and Jazzwise Magazine applauding the ‘rich bejewelled detail’ of the collaboration.
